CareTogether：讓語言不再是照護路上的隔閡

專案背景

這個專案源自我們在新加坡參加的 Entrepreneurship Program。我們這組被分配到的題目是「Caring for aging parents」——一個乍看熟悉、卻很難三言兩語說清楚的問題。與其急著想產品，我們決定先花時間拆解題目：長輩照護到底卡在哪裡？誰在照護現場？他們每天真正面對的困難又是什麼？

痛點

根據我們查詢的資料，台灣有 87.3 萬名移工，其中近 20 萬人是家庭看護，來自印尼、越南、菲律賓、泰國等地。勞動部的調查顯示，35% 的家庭反映跟外籍看護相處有問題，其中 72.3% 的困難來自「語言溝通」。

因此，在這個議題上，我們切入的痛點是：不是照護能力不足，而是雙方之間缺少一座清楚、即時的溝通橋樑。

家屬不放心把爸媽交給語言不通的看護，看護也常常因為聽不懂指示而做錯事、感到不被信任。

於是我們決定做出一個能建立信任的產品——CareTogether。

功能介紹

核心功能非常簡易、直覺：

任務指派：家屬用幾秒鐘建立每日照護任務
跨語言溝通：系統自動翻譯，看護用自己熟悉的語言接收任務
自動生成照護紀錄：每個任務完成後留下照片與紀錄，家屬隨時可查看，看護的努力也被看見

Project Background

This project began at an Entrepreneurship Program we joined in Singapore. Our team was assigned the theme “Caring for Aging Parents” — a problem that sounds familiar at first glance, but is surprisingly hard to define in just a few words. Instead of jumping straight to a solution, we decided to spend time breaking the problem down: Where exactly does elder care fall short? Who are the people on the front lines of caregiving? And what do they actually struggle with every day?

The Pain Point

According to the data we researched, Taiwan has 873,000 migrant workers, nearly 200,000 of whom work as home caregivers, coming from Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand. A survey by Taiwan’s Ministry of Labor found that 35% of households reported difficulties getting along with foreign caregivers, with 72.3% of those difficulties stemming from language communication.

This led us to the pain point we chose to focus on: the issue isn’t a lack of caregiving ability — it’s the absence of a clear, real-time bridge of communication between the two sides.

Families hesitate to trust the care of their parents to a caregiver they can’t communicate with, while caregivers often make mistakes or feel distrusted simply because they can’t understand instructions.

So we set out to build a product that creates trust — Care Together.

Features

The core features are simple and intuitive:

Task Assignment — Families can create daily care tasks in just seconds
Cross-Language Communication — The system automatically translates, so caregivers receive tasks in the language they’re most comfortable with
Automated Care Logs — Every completed task leaves behind a photo and record, so families can check in anytime — and caregivers’ efforts are recognized

Good care isn’t built on surveillance — it’s built on mutual understanding. Care Together removes language as a barrier, giving families peace of mind and giving caregivers the respect they deserve.
